Wedding Cake Consultation /Taster - Saturday 17th January 2026 12:30pm

If you are looking to book a wedding cake for 2026/2027 these appointments are a great way to sample the cake flavours and discuss your design ideas !

*For booking enquiries for weddings January until August 2026 please email info@melkellycakesandbakes.com to check if the date is available as some weekends are currently fully booked for weddings*

The appointments also provide the opportunity to see the different sized tiers and how your ideas would look visually as well as discussing portions required. The shop has a number of display cakes, fondant models and sugar flowers too

Each appointment can accommodate four people in total so they are a great way to get together as a couple, friends or some of your bridal party to enjoy chatting all things wedding cake! Feel free to bring along anything that is important to your cake design, such as inspiration pictures, colour swatches etc.

The fee for the appointment is £25 however if a booking is made then this is refunded from the cost of the cake (on orders over £100)

Notes

- The appointments are 45 minutes. Once booked, they are non-refundable so please ensure that you are able to make the date and time requested.

- The samples include the following allergens - MILK, EGGS, SOYA, GLUTEN(WHEAT), METABISULPHITES), ALMONDS (almond cake and fruit cake), PECANS (carrot and pecan cake). As such the appointments are not suitable for those with allergies.
